In order to provide you with the utmost flexibility when it comes to your treatment, I do not take any insurance plans and am considered an out-of-network provider. Being out-of-network ensures that the length and course of treatment can be decided by you rather than by an insurance company.
While I do not work directly with any insurance plans, many insurance companies will reimburse you some of the costs of the session. Please see the question below for more detailed guidance on submitting

First, call your insurance company’s member service line to ask them about your plan’s out-of-network benefits for outpatient psychotherapy provided by a psychologist.
Then, find out if you will owe a deductible before your coverage starts. If the answer to this is yes, ask what is the amount you would need to pay before your plan starts to reimburse you for services.
Next, you will want to find out how much your plan will reimburse you for therapy sessions. To ascertain this, you will need to ask the representative the maximum amount your plan will reimburse for service code 90834 and modifier code 95 with a psychologist, and what percentage of the allowed amount will your plan pay. This number should reflect the amount you will be reimbursed for each session.
Lastly, please note that teletherapy coverage varies between insurance plans. When discussing coverage with your insurance plan, please check to see if teletherapy is covered by your plan.

If after our phone consultation you decide that you would like to meet for a full session, I will send you a secure, HIPAA-compliant video link for the time of our agreed upon session, as well as some forms to complete prior to our first session.
